Leæther Strip is a Danish electro-industrial project founded by Claus Larsen in 1988. Its early catalogue established a hard, sequenced EBM sound through releases such as Solitary Confinement and Underneath the Laughter, while “Japanese Bodies” and “Strap Me Down” became enduring songs in the project’s repertoire. In 2005, Leæther Strip returned after a hiatus with After the Devastation and resumed performing. The project has since played European industrial and dark-electronic events, including Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig and Amphi Festival in Cologne.
