Lin-Manuel Miranda Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

Lin-Manuel Miranda is an American composer, lyricist, playwright and actor, born in New York City in 1980. He wrote the music and lyrics for In the Heights, then the book, music and lyrics for Hamilton, originating the leading role in both musicals. His other widely known songs include “How Far I’ll Go” from Moana and “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from Encanto.

In 2008, he played Usnavi in the Broadway production of In the Heights at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. Hamilton premiered at the Public Theater in 2015 before transferring to Broadway, where he performed as Alexander Hamilton until 2016. He returned to the role for the musical’s 2019 Puerto Rico production at the Luis A. Ferré Performing Arts Center in San Juan.

He also co-founded Freestyle Love Supreme, an improvisational hip-hop show built around audience suggestions. Miranda appeared during its 2019 Broadway engagement at the Booth Theatre.
