Lumen is a Russian rock band formed in Ufa in 1998 and fronted by vocalist Rustem Bulatov. Its alternative rock and punk songs often address political and social tensions; “Sid and Nancy,” “Goret” and “Gosudarstvo” are among its best-known tracks, while Svoboda became a key album in its catalogue.

In 2003, Lumen recorded a concert at Ufa’s Navigator club and released it as the debut album Bez konservantov. The band documented its stage work again on the live album and concert film Dyshi, recorded in Moscow at the Gorbunov Palace of Culture.
