About Marnie Stern
Marnie Stern is an American guitarist, singer and songwriter from New York City who plays experimental indie rock built around rapid, two-handed guitar tapping. She established her solo catalogue with albums including In Advance of the Broken Arm, Marnie Stern and The Chronicles of Marnia, then returned after a long recording break with The Comeback Kid.
She performed at Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago in 2008 during the touring years behind her early Kill Rock Stars releases. In 2014, she joined The 8G Band on Late Night with Seth Meyers, where she played guitar for a decade. Following The Comeback Kid, she returned to club dates that included TV Eye in New York.
