Artist
Mastodon is an American metal band formed in Atlanta in 2000. They play progressive and sludge metal, and are known for albums including Leviathan, Blood Mountain and Crack the Skye; “Blood and Thunder” became one of their signature songs. Mastodon supported Metallica on parts of the World Magnetic Tour in 2008 and 2009. In 2012, the band recorded a concert at O2 Academy Brixton for the release Live at Brixton, and in 2023 they mounted the co-headlining Mega-Monsters Tour with Gojira.
