About Mayonnaise
Mayonnaise is a Filipino alternative rock and pop-rock band formed in 2002, led by singer and songwriter Monty Macalino. The group is known for songs including “Jopay,” “Bakit Part 2,” “Tayo Na Lang Dalawa” and “Synesthesia,” as well as its self-titled debut album.
Mayonnaise won the Red Horse Muziklaban band competition in 2004, establishing an early foundation for its live career. In 2023, the band celebrated two decades of music with the Mayo 20th Anniversary Show at Quezon City Memorial Circle.
