About Eraserheads
Eraserheads are a Filipino alternative rock band formed in Quezon City in 1989 by Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro and Raimund Marasigan. Albums including Ultraelectromagneticpop!, Circus and Cutterpillow established their place in Philippine rock, while “Pare Ko,” “With a Smile” and “Ang Huling El Bimbo” became signature songs.
After disbanding in 2002, Eraserheads reunited at The Fort Open Grounds in Taguig in 2008, though the concert ended early when Buendia was taken to hospital. The band returned for The Final Set at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds in 2009, then brought the original quartet together again for Huling El Bimbo at the SMDC Festival Grounds in 2022.
In 2023, the Huling El Bimbo World Tour took Eraserheads to the United States and Canada.
