Megson in Portsmouth

Megson are an English folk duo formed in 2004 by husband-and-wife musicians Stu and Debbie Hanna. Drawing on the traditional music of their native Teesside, they combine original songwriting with close vocal harmonies; their albums include Smoke of Home, The Longshot and Good Times Will Come Again. Megson have toured British folk clubs, arts centres and theatres since the 2000s, presenting their own songs beside material rooted in North East England. Their concerts centre on two voices, guitar, mandola and accordion. Their festival appearances have included Cambridge Folk Festival and Shrewsbury Folk Festival.
