About Mercy Union

Mercy Union are an American punk-rock band formed in Jersey City, New Jersey, in 2017 by singer-guitarist Jared Hart and drummer Benny Horowitz. Their melodic punk and heartland-rock songwriting can be heard on the albums The Quarry and White Tiger, as well as songs including “Young Dionysians” and “Silver Dollars.”

Following The Quarry, the band toured clubs and theatres as support for Laura Jane Grace and The Menzingers. They also opened for The Gaslight Anthem, whose drummer Benny Horowitz co-founded Mercy Union.
