About Chris Cresswell
Chris Cresswell is a Canadian singer-songwriter and guitarist, best known as the lead vocalist of punk band The Flatliners and as a member of Hot Water Music. The Flatliners formed in Richmond Hill, Ontario, in 2002; their catalogue includes The Great Awake, Cavalcade and Dead Language. His acoustic folk-punk solo work includes Chris Cresswell’s One Week Record, made with Joey Cape, and The Stubbornness of the Young.
The Flatliners played punk clubs and festivals including The Fest in Gainesville and Groezrock in Belgium during years of international touring. In 2017, Chris Cresswell began performing as a guitarist and vocalist with Hot Water Music. He also played solo acoustic dates between tours by the two bands.
His solo concerts feature voice and acoustic guitar. The set draws on his solo records and songs by The Flatliners.
