About Northcote
Northcote is the folk-rock project of Canadian singer-songwriter Matthew Goud, formerly the vocalist of the post-hardcore band Means. His songwriting moves between acoustic folk and full-band rock, and his releases include Gather No Dust, the self-titled Northcote, Hope Is Made of Steel and Let Me Roar.
Northcote supported Frank Turner on a Canadian tour and later carried the project through club tours in Europe. Goud performs both solo with an acoustic guitar and with a band, and his European touring has included dates with Dave Hause.
