About Michael Schenker Group
Michael Schenker Group is a British hard rock band formed in London in 1979 by German guitarist Michael Schenker after he left UFO. Its early records include The Michael Schenker Group, MSG and Assault Attack, while “Armed and Ready,” “Into the Arena” and “Attack of the Mad Axeman” became lasting parts of its catalogue.
Michael Schenker Group played Reading Festival in 1980 and recorded a Tokyo performance at Nippon Budokan the following year for One Night at Budokan. The concert album Rock Will Never Die later documented its 1983 performances at Hammersmith Odeon.
