Mr. Scruff Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

Mr. Scruff is the stage name of English DJ, producer and illustrator Andrew Carthy, who was born in Macclesfield and became closely associated with Manchester’s electronic music scene. His playful, sample-based mix of downtempo, jazz, hip-hop and house is heard on albums including Keep It Unreal, Trouser Jazz and Ninja Tuna, while “Get a Move On!” is among his best-known tracks.

His Keep It Unreal club night began in Manchester in 1999; it ran at the Music Box before moving to Band on the Wall. He built the night around extended DJ sets spanning multiple styles, accompanied by his own hand-drawn animated visuals and a tea stall. He also took that long-form DJ format to festivals including Glastonbury and The Big Chill.
