Nano Stern in Santiago

Nano Stern is a Chilean singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, born in Santiago in 1985. He plays Latin American folk shaped by nueva canción, Andean traditions and rock, and is known for songs including “Necesito una canción” and “La raíz,” as well as the albums Los Espejos, La Cosecha and Mil 500 Vueltas. Nano Stern has performed at WOMADelaide in Australia and WOMAD New Zealand, bringing his Spanish-language repertoire to the festival circuit beyond Chile. He also recorded a filmed performance for NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert.
