Nocturnal Depression is a French depressive black metal band formed in Grenoble in 2004 by Lord Lokhraed and Herr Suizid. The group is known for stark, melancholic records including Nostalgia – Fragments of a Broken Past and Spleen Black Metal, as well as songs such as “Her Ghost Haunts These Walls.” Nocturnal Depression have toured beyond France with a full-band concert format, playing clubs and festivals devoted to extreme metal. They have performed at Hellfest Open Air in Clisson and at Steelfest in Hyvinkää.
