Objekt in Porto

Objekt is the recording alias of TJ Hertz, a British-American electronic musician and DJ born in Tokyo, raised in Belgium and the United Kingdom, and based in Berlin. His work spans techno, electro, dubstep and experimental electronic music. He is known for the early singles “Tinderbox,” “The Goose That Got Away” and “Cactus,” as well as the PAN albums Flatland and Cocoon Crush. In 2016, Objekt compiled Kern Vol. 3 for Tresor, documenting the broad musical range behind his DJ sets. His appearances have also included Berghain and festival performances at Dekmantel and Unsound.
