About Orgia Pravednikov
Orgia Pravednikov is a Russian progressive-rock band formed in Moscow in 1999 around singer, songwriter and guitarist Sergei Kalugin and musicians from Artel. The group plays progressive and art rock marked by heavy guitars, folk instrumentation and symphonic passages. Its principal albums include Oglashennye, izydite!, Dveri! Dveri!, Ukhodyashchee solntse and Dlya tekh, kto vidit sny. Vol. 1.
The band performed at Russia’s Nashestvie festival and at ProgPower Europe in Baarlo, while its own club and theatre concerts used a full electric lineup. The concert arrangements centered on the voice and guitar of Sergei Kalugin.
