Artist
Osibisa is a British-Ghanaian band formed in London in 1969. The group plays Afro-rock shaped by highlife, jazz and funk, and is known for songs including “Sunshine Day” and “Dance the Body Music,” as well as the albums Woyaya and Welcome Home. Black Magic Night documented Osibisa at the Royal Festival Hall in 1977, capturing its horn-and-percussion-led ensemble in a concert-hall setting. The band later recorded Live at the Marquee at the Marquee Club, placing the same expansive lineup in a club room.
