About Palehound
Palehound is the American indie-rock project led by singer, songwriter and guitarist El Kempner. Formed in 2013 and associated with Boston’s indie scene, the group is known for albums including Dry Food, A Place I’ll Always Go, Black Friday and Eye on the Bat, as well as songs such as “Molly,” “Healthier Folk” and “The Clutch.”
Palehound performed at Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago in 2016, taking the project’s guitar-led full-band set onto a major festival stage. The group also toured with Big Thief, playing clubs and theatres together.
