Paul Anka in Port Chester

Paul Anka is a Canadian-American pop singer and songwriter, born in Ottawa in 1941. He became known through songs including “Diana,” “Lonely Boy” and “Put Your Head on My Shoulder,” and later wrote the English lyrics for Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” and the song “She’s a Lady” for Tom Jones. In 1960, Paul Anka performed at New York’s Copacabana. He went on to perform for decades in Las Vegas, including engagements at Caesars Palace.
