About Phantom Planet
Phantom Planet is an American alternative-rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1994. The group is best known for “California,” a track from The Guest that became the theme song for The O.C.; its catalogue also includes “Big Brat,” the self-titled Phantom Planet, Raise the Dead and Devastator.
In 2008, Phantom Planet ended its pre-hiatus touring with a farewell concert at the Troubadour in Los Angeles. The reunited group returned to live performance in 2019 at the Lodge Room.
