About Phoria
Phoria are a British band formed in Brighton in 2009. They play atmospheric alternative rock built around electronics, ambient textures and orchestral writing. The tracks “Red” and “Emanate” introduced their early sound, while their albums include the vocal-led Volition, the instrumental Caught a Black Rabbit and River Oblivion.
A Sofar Sounds session in London documented Phoria performing “Saving Us a Riot” in a close, ensemble arrangement. Festival appearances also included The Great Escape, where the group performed in its home city of Brighton.
