Pig Destroyer is an American grindcore band formed in Alexandria, Virginia, in 1997 by vocalist J. R. Hayes and guitarist Scott Hull. The band is known for compact, abrasive songs, Hayes’s dense lyrics and albums including Prowler in the Yard, Terrifyer, Phantom Limb and Head Cage. Pig Destroyer have performed repeatedly at Maryland Deathfest in Baltimore during a live career centered on selected appearances. In Europe, the band has also played Roadburn Festival in Tilburg and Damnation Festival in Leeds.
Necrot is an American death metal trio formed in Oakland in 2011. The band established its old-school sound through early demos collected on The Labyrinth and the albums Blood Offerings, Mortal and Lifeless Birth. Necrot toured North America with Blood Incantation in 2018. The band later mounted a 2024 North American headlining run behind Lifeless Birth, supported by BAT and Street Tombs. Necrot performs as a three-piece: Luca Indrio handles bass and vocals, Sonny Reinhardt plays guitar, and Chad Gailey plays drums.
