About Porcupine Tree
Porcupine Tree are an English progressive rock band started by singer, guitarist and songwriter Steven Wilson in 1987 as a solo studio project. Their music developed from psychedelic and ambient experimentation into heavier progressive rock, represented by albums including In Absentia, Deadwing and Fear of a Blank Planet and songs such as “Trains,” “Blackest Eyes” and “Lazarus.”
Two 2005 concerts at Park West in Chicago were filmed for the concert release Arriving Somewhere.... The band’s 2010 Royal Albert Hall show was its last before a 12-year break from performing, which ended with the Closure/Continuation tour in 2022. Porcupine Tree played Wembley Arena in London during that return.
