About Project Smok
Project Smok are a Scottish instrumental folk trio formed in 2017 by piper and whistle player Ali Levack, guitarist Pablo Lafuente and bodhrán player Ewan Baird. Their music draws on Scottish and Celtic traditions, and their releases include the albums Bayview and The Outset.
Project Smok have performed at Celtic Connections in Glasgow and at Cambridge Folk Festival. Their concerts retain the trio format, centred on Levack’s pipes and whistles, Lafuente’s guitar and the bodhrán playing of Ewan Baird.
