RADIO TAPOK is a Russian metal project led by singer and multi-instrumentalist Oleg Abramov. He became known for Russian-language adaptations of songs by Rammstein, Linkin Park and Sabaton before developing a catalog of original heavy and power metal about military history. His song “Битва за Москву” was adapted by Sabaton as “Defence of Moscow,” while the albums “Наследие” and “Эпоха империй” established the project’s original repertoire.

RADIO TAPOK first brought its cover repertoire to concert stages, then added more original songs as Oleg Abramov’s catalog grew. Performances following “Наследие” placed greater emphasis on historical metal, and material from “Эпоха империй” later entered the set.

The show uses a full rock-band lineup, with Oleg Abramov performing as singer and guitarist.

RADIO TAPOK has performed most often in Russia, including concerts in Moscow and St Petersburg.
