Reverend Beat-Man in Frankfurt am Main

Reverend Beat-Man is the solo persona of Swiss musician Beat Zeller, a Bern-based singer, guitarist and drummer who also fronts The Monsters and founded Voodoo Rhythm Records. His music draws on garage rock, blues, rock and roll and gospel-punk; key releases include Get on Your Knees and the Surreal Folk Blues Gospel Trash albums, while “Jesus Christ Twist” is among his best-known songs. Beat Zeller first took his stripped-down solo act on the road as Lightning Beat-Man, then carried the one-man format into Reverend Beat-Man. He has toured internationally in clubs and at festivals, performing on vocals, guitar and drums. He has also performed and recorded as a duo with Colombian musician Sister Nicole Izobel Garcia, including the album Baile Bruja Muerto.
