Riley Downing is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist from Missouri who plays country, soul and folk-rooted Americana. He is known as a member of The Deslondes and for his solo debut album Start It Over, which includes “Deep Breath,” “I’m Not Ready” and “Coleman Rose.”

Riley Downing spent years touring as a singer and guitarist with The Deslondes before playing under his own name. Following Start It Over, his solo work reached clubs and small theatres in the United States and Europe, where the performances centered on his voice, guitar and songs from the record. That format retained the role he had established on the road with The Deslondes.
