Russell Morris is an Australian singer-songwriter whose work ranges across psychedelic pop, rock and blues. After singing with Somebody’s Image, he established a solo career through “The Real Thing,” followed by songs including “Sweet, Sweet Love” and “Wings of an Eagle.” His later recordings include the blues-rooted albums Sharkmouth, Van Diemen’s Land and Red Dirt - Red Heart.

In 2002, Russell Morris appeared on the national Long Way to the Top concert tour, which brought together performers from several generations of Australian rock. He later toured theatres in a joint show with Brian Cadd, while The Real Thing Symphonic Concert presented his catalogue with a rock band and orchestra at Hamer Hall.
