Russell Watson is an English tenor, born in Salford in 1966, who performs classical crossover and operatic pop. His debut album, The Voice, introduced his versions of opera arias and popular songs, while his recording of “Where My Heart Will Take Me” became the opening theme for Star Trek: Enterprise.

In 1999, Russell Watson sang “Barcelona” with Montserrat Caballé at Camp Nou before the UEFA Champions League final. He later performed at the opening ceremony of the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester. In 2019, the In Harmony Tour brought Russell Watson and Aled Jones to theatres around Britain after their album together.
