Samora Pinderhughes in Gdansk

Samora Pinderhughes is an American pianist, singer, composer and multidisciplinary artist raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. His catalog includes the song cycle The Transformations Suite, the album Grief and the multimedia undertaking The Healing Project, which draws on interviews about incarceration, violence and loss. Samora Pinderhughes has performed at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center, presenting his work in concert-hall settings as a pianist and vocalist. His NPR Tiny Desk concert used a small ensemble and included his sister, flutist Elena Pinderhughes.
