Sarah McQuaid is a Madrid-born, Chicago-raised singer-songwriter and guitarist based in Cornwall. Her music draws on folk, traditional Irish material and contemporary songwriting, and her recordings include the early album When Two Lovers Meet and the later If We Dig Any Deeper It Could Get Dangerous. Sarah McQuaid has toured folk clubs, arts centres and intimate theatres across Britain, Ireland, continental Europe and the United States, usually performing solo with vocals and acoustic guitar. In 2020 she recorded the concert film and live album The St Buryan Sessions inside St Buryan Church.
