About Skiltron
Skiltron is an Argentine folk-metal band formed in Buenos Aires in 2004 by guitarist Emilio Souto. It plays power metal led by electric guitars and bagpipes, often drawing on Scottish history and imagery. The debut album The Clans Have United established this approach, followed by records including The Highland Way and Into the Battleground.
Skiltron played Bloodstock Open Air in 2013. Two years later, the group became the first Argentine band to perform at Wacken Open Air.
