About Soledad Brothers
Soledad Brothers are an American garage-blues band formed in Toledo, Ohio, by singer-guitarist Johnny Walker and drummer Ben Swank. Their raw blues and garage rock appeared on the Jack White-produced album Soledad Brothers, followed by Steal Your Soul and Dare Your Spirit to Move, Voice of Treason and The Hardest Walk.
Soledad Brothers toured North America and Europe during their original run and supported The White Stripes, extending a connection established in the Detroit garage-rock scene. Their concerts featured Walker on guitar and vocals, Swank on drums, and Oliver Henry adding saxophone and guitar.
