About SONIC BOOM
Sonic Boom is the stage name of English musician and producer Peter Kember, born in 1965 and known as a co-founder of Spacemen 3. His work covers psychedelic rock, drones and experimental electronic music, including Spacemen 3 albums The Perfect Prescription and Playing with Fire, recordings made as Spectrum and E.A.R., the solo album All Things Being Equal, and Reset, his collaboration with Panda Bear.
During the 1990s, he toured with Spectrum, carrying his post-Spacemen 3 material into clubs and theatres. In 2023, Sonic Boom toured with Panda Bear behind Reset, presenting the album together in concert and appearing at Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Glastonbury Festival.
