Artist
Spike and the Gimme Gimmes is an American punk cover band formed in San Francisco in 1995 by singer Spike Slawson and musicians from NOFX, Lagwagon and No Use for a Name. Previously billed as Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, the group recasts pop, rock, show tunes, R&B and country material as punk. Its releases include Have a Ball, Are a Drag, Take a Break, Ruin Jonny’s Bar Mitzvah and Blow It at Madison’s Quinceañera. In 2003, the band made its fifth appearance on Vans Warped Tour. It adopted Spike and the Gimme Gimmes as its touring name in 2025, and singer Spike Slawson fronts the live band.
