About Surfer Blood
Surfer Blood are an American indie rock band formed in West Palm Beach, Florida, in 2009. Their debut album, Astro Coast, introduced the guitar-driven songs “Swim” and “Take It Easy”; later releases include Pythons, 1000 Palms and Snowdonia.
Surfer Blood opened for Pixies on dates of the Doolittle tour in 2010, bringing material from Astro Coast into larger theatres. The band carried those songs onto festival stages the following year, including Coachella.
