The Appleseed Cast is an American band formed in Southern California in 1997 and later based in Lawrence, Kansas. Its music moves through emo, indie rock and expansive post-rock, documented on albums including Mare Vitalis, the two-part Low Level Owl project, Two Conversations and Peregrine. In 2010, the band toured the United States performing both volumes of Low Level Owl in sequence. Dreamend joined the tour as support.
