The Furrow Collective in Sheffield

The Furrow Collective are a British traditional folk group formed in 2013 by Alasdair Roberts, Emily Portman, Lucy Farrell and Rachel Newton. The quartet interpret ballads and folk songs from Britain and beyond, recording them on albums including At Our Next Meeting, Wild Hog and Fathoms. The Furrow Collective have toured Britain and mainland Europe as a four-piece, rotating lead vocals and accompanying their harmonies on acoustic instruments including guitar, fiddle, viola and harp. Their festival appearances have included Celtic Connections in Glasgow and Cambridge Folk Festival.
