About The Laurie Berkner Band
The Laurie Berkner Band is an American children’s music group led by singer-songwriter and guitarist Laurie Berkner. Its playful folk-pop repertoire includes “We Are the Dinosaurs,” “Victor Vito,” “Bumblebee (Buzz Buzz)” and “Rocketship Run.”
The group has performed family concerts at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York.
The concerts invite children to march during “We Are the Dinosaurs” and hold stuffed animals on their heads for “Pig on Her Head.” Guitar and lead vocals come from Laurie Berkner.
