About The Wiggles
The Wiggles are an Australian children’s music group formed in 1991. Their songs pair simple pop melodies with movement and educational themes; “Hot Potato,” “Fruit Salad,” “Big Red Car” and “Wake Up Jeff!” became central parts of their recordings and television programs.
The Celebration Tour in 2012 marked the departure of longtime members Murray Cook, Greg Page and Jeff Fatt, concluding with a farewell concert at Sydney Entertainment Centre. The original members later reunited for an adults-only bushfire benefit concert at Castle Hill RSL in 2020.
Their family shows combine live songs, simple choreography and direct audience participation. Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and Captain Feathersword appear as recurring concert characters.
