Artist
The Obsessed is an American doom-metal band formed in Potomac, Maryland, in 1976 around guitarist and singer Scott “Wino” Weinrich. Heavy riffs, hard-rock momentum and Weinrich’s direct vocal style shape records including The Obsessed, Lunar Womb and The Church Within. Roadburn Festival brought the group to Tilburg in 2012 for a reunion performance featuring Weinrich, Guy Pinhas and Greg Rogers. After another lineup change, the band returned to clubs in the United States and Europe while touring behind Sacred, still led by Wino.
