About The Once
The Once are a Canadian folk trio formed in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, in 2004 by Geraldine Hollett, Phil Churchill and Andrew Dale. Their music draws on Newfoundland traditional songs, acoustic arrangements and close three-part harmonies. The self-titled debut, Row Upon Row of the People They Know and Departures established their catalogue, which includes “We Are All Running” and “I Can’t Live Without You.”
The trio opened for Passenger on the Whispers Tour, performing across Europe and North America. Those concerts took The Once into larger theatres and concert halls, including a support appearance at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
