About The Starting Line
The Starting Line is an American pop-punk band formed in Churchville, Pennsylvania, in 1999. The group became known through the album Say It Like You Mean It and songs including “The Best of Me,” “Leaving” and “Given the Chance,” followed by the albums Based on a True Story and Direction.
The Starting Line played multiple editions of the Vans Warped Tour during the 2000s, then gave its final performance before a hiatus at The Bamboozle in 2008. The band reunited for shows in 2011 and later performed anniversary concerts built around Say It Like You Mean It, as well as recurring holiday concerts in Philadelphia.
