Thirsty Merc in Sydney

Thirsty Merc are an Australian pop-rock band formed in Sydney in 2002, led by singer, songwriter and keyboard player Rai Thistlethwayte. They are known for songs including “In the Summertime,” “Someday, Someday,” “Emancipate Myself” and “20 Good Reasons,” as well as the albums Thirsty Merc and Slideshows. In 2007, Thirsty Merc performed at Sydney’s Live Earth concert at Aussie Stadium. Years later, they marked two decades of the band with the 20 Good Years Tour, playing their established catalogue at venues around Australia.
