Tonbandgerät in Hamburg

Tonbandgerät are a German indie-pop band formed in Hamburg in 2007. Their guitar-led, German-language pop is represented by songs including “Irgendwie anders” and “Alles geht,” as well as the albums Heute ist für immer, Wenn das Feuerwerk landet and Zwischen all dem Lärm. After Heute ist für immer, Tonbandgerät undertook a headline tour through German clubs. They later represented Hamburg at the Bundesvision Song Contest with “Alles geht,” while concert trips organized through the Goethe-Institut also took the band to the United States and Israel.
