Tony Ann in Dubai

Tony Ann is a Canadian pianist and composer from Toronto who writes contemporary instrumental music centered on the piano. He became known through his #playthatword series, turning words suggested by followers into short compositions, and through pieces including “Pulse,” “Icarus” and “Rain.” He also co-wrote The Chainsmokers songs “Sick Boy” and “Call You Mine.” Tony Ann spent several years touring as a keyboardist with The Chainsmokers before beginning his first solo world tour in 2024. His headline concerts present his original compositions as solo-piano performances, a program he has taken to London and Paris.
