About Visage
Visage were a British synth-pop and new wave group formed in London in 1978, fronted by Steve Strange and built around musicians including Midge Ure, Rusty Egan and Billy Currie. Closely associated with the New Romantic movement, they are known for “Fade to Grey” and the albums Visage and The Anvil.
In 2002, Steve Strange performed Visage material on the Here and Now Christmas Tour, bringing songs including “Fade to Grey” to an arena package devoted to 1980s acts. He subsequently led a re-formed Visage lineup for club and festival performances, establishing the group’s main period of concert activity under Steve Strange.
