WDR Funkhausorchester is a German broadcast orchestra founded in 1947 and based in Cologne as part of Westdeutscher Rundfunk. Its repertoire covers film scores, video-game music, jazz, musicals and popular song; its Game Music in Concert programmes have introduced orchestral versions of game soundtracks to a broad online and concert audience. The orchestra has presented Game Music in Concert at the Kölner Philharmonie, performing soundtrack suites in a full orchestral format. It also gives broadcast concerts in the more intimate Klaus-von-Bismarck-Saal at WDR Funkhaus.
