You Am I are an Australian alternative-rock band formed in Sydney in 1989 by singer and guitarist Tim Rogers. Their guitar-driven rock and power pop found its clearest expression on the albums Hi Fi Way, Hourly, Daily and #4 Record, and in songs including “Berlin Chair,” “Purple Sneakers” and “Heavy Heart.” You Am I opened for the Rolling Stones on the Australian leg of the Voodoo Lounge Tour in 1995. The live album Saturday Night, 'Round Ten later documented a 1999 performance at the Metro Theatre. The 2013 Hi Fi Daily Double tour placed Hi Fi Way and Hourly, Daily at the centre of full-album concerts.
